Location: Capri Island, Italy, 2019.
Arcadia originated from Greek and it means idyllic vision of unspoiled wilderness. Although Capri is not truly wilderness, the Mediterranean landscape combined with its turquoise water probably makes it the closest you would get. Situated just off the Amalfi Coast, Capri is the ideal place to enjoy the beautiful southern Italian weather without the hustling and bustling of the crowd.
I explored this part of Capri on foot where I walked from the main port to Marina Piccola. Descending to the beach through the winding roads, you really have to stop to appreciate the view because it simply looks perfect, like a scene out of an ancient fairy tale.

Born in Malaysia, I was bitten by the travel bug at a young age. My interest in exploring off the beaten tracks have led me to places such as Tibet, Iran, and Pakistan. While it’s nice to see new places, I have enjoyed the cultural experience of traveling more. I would bring home a piece of local culture from every place I visit, mainly in the form of wall art.
Maybe you have been to places I have photographed, or seen them elsewhere. I hope, through my work, I can bring a piece of memory or add an artistic touch to your living space.
