Location: Valencia, Spain, 2018.
A Note From The Artist:
"Composure" is part of a series that explores how we perceive architecture. We often see building in its literal form and as a functional structure without appreciating its art form. In this series, I want to explore how architecture can be seen from various perspectives and interpreted differently in addition to its physical appearance. I aim to further blur the boundaries between art and reality.
This photograph is the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia (Valencia Opera House), part of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia designed by Calatrava. On a clear day, part of the building reflects light during sunset, creating a sight that seems out of this world.
The other two photographs that belong to this series are Beyond and Finesse.

Born in Malaysia, I was bitten by the travel bug at a young age. My interest in exploring off the beaten tracks has led me to places such as Tibet, Iran, and Pakistan. While it’s nice to see new places, I have enjoyed the cultural experience of traveling more. I would bring home a piece of local culture from every place I visit, mainly in the form of wall art.
Maybe you have been to places I have photographed, or seen them elsewhere. I hope, through my work, I can bring a piece of memory or add an artistic touch to your living space.
