A Note From The Artist:

L'Àgora or simply Agora, is a multipurpose venue within the City of Arts and Sciences designed by Calatrava in the Spanish coastal city of Valencia. The word "Agora" originates from Greek where it means an open assembly area for public activity.

The otherworldly design of the building resembles a gigantic alien surrounded by a utopian landscape. The outer blue "cloak" consists of thousands of tiles that reflect light like it was bouncing off the water surface. The steel pipes with its downward and outward position create an illusion of the entity enclosing himself in his cocoon, staring down and contemplating when to emerge following his metamorphosis.
