L'Àgora or simply Agora, is a multipurpose venue within the City of Arts and Sciences designed by Calatrava in the Spanish coastal city of Valencia. The word "Agora" originates from Greek where it means an open assembly area for public activity.
The otherworldly design of the building resembles a gigantic alien surrounded by a utopian landscape. The outer blue "cloak" consists of thousands of tiles that reflect light like it was bouncing off the water surface. The steel pipes with their downward and outward position create an illusion of the entity enclosing himself in his cocoon, staring down and contemplating when to emerge following his metamorphosis.

Born in Malaysia, I was bitten by the travel bug at a young age. My interest in exploring off the beaten tracks has led me to places such as Tibet, Iran, and Pakistan. While it’s nice to see new places, I have enjoyed the cultural experience of traveling more. I would bring home a piece of local culture from every place I visit, mainly in the form of wall art.
Maybe you have been to places I have photographed, or seen them elsewhere. I hope, through my work, I can bring a piece of memory or add an artistic touch to your living space.
